Create Websites Made For Universal Access
Websites should be designed for every kind of user, including the handicap.  Html text links at the bottom of each web page helps users that don't have some of the same abilities many of us take for granted.  Many Internet users are visually impaired, and many can't use a keyboard or a mouse.  For these users, you should design your website to be easily navigatable.  Visually impaired users need either large, easily viewable links, or text links that their customized computers can read.

To design a website that is considered universal access, you should clearly name each of your pages with the name of the page and a brief description of the subject matter.  It's important to use alt tags too.  It helps some computers read what the image is.  Write descriptive alt text in order to help those that are visually impaired.

The layout of your text links needs to be easy to navigate.  This should begin with your first steps into the design of the website.  The layout needs to be easy to follow and consistent.

Consider creating a custom template for your website button layouts and / or the web design itself.  Custom templates saves the web designer a whole lot of time by inserting the graphics and button layout and links to each of your pages by simply clicking a button.  It makes what used to be several hours of work, child's play.  Set up one page with each of your visually impaired graphics and links, then save it as a custom template.

Next, just create your other web pages and add that custom template to each of your new blank pages.  Once you do this, it will add all of those graphics, buttons, and links onto your new page.  It saves tons of time.
Commonly new and old web designers don't put much consideration in for the visually or physically impaired Internet users.  More and more now days, websites are being redesigned to incorporate easy navigation, page titling, and descriptive image alt tags to make the impaired users visit is a good one.  Learn to create website with universal access to the visually impaired, physically handicap, as well as the mentally handicap.  Provide every visitor to your website a pleasurable experience.

Experienced website designers tend to design their websites with html text links at the bottom of their web pages.  These are located on or below the footer image.  Some websites are designed with no image buttons and use only text links.  It's up to you how you design your website.  The program includes websites with image buttons.  If you want your site to include text buttons, you should create a custom template like discussed above.
